CANAM offers installation, testing and maintenance services for fire and smoke alarms, automatic opening vents (AOVs) and dry risers in residential and commercial developments, including a 24-hour emergency call-out service.

  

Fire and Smoke Alarms
CANAM provides Conventional, Analogue-Addressable and Wire-Free fire alarm systems. Following installation, we commission and test our systems, issuing test certificates together with installation drawings/manuals.

Our comprehensive fire and smoke alarm tests are carried out in accordance with the latest recommendations - such as BS 5839-1:2002, covering all aspects of design, installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems.

We carry out recommended testing and maintenance, in line with statutory requirements, Clients’ operational needs, type of building and Best Practice guidelines.

Our test record sheets give Clients detailed results, including any shortcomings. We provide quotations for any necessary remedial work and where instructed, carry these out promptly and efficiently.

CANAM offers a 24-hour emergency repair service, giving our Clients added reassurance should their systems fail.

 

Automatic Opening Vents
CANAM carries out regular testing, maintenance and repairs to a range of leading automated smoke-ventilation systems. Designed to activate on detection of smoke and help disperse and remove harmful gases from buildings, these systems are typically found in escape corridors and stairwells.

Dry Risers
CANAM carries out routine testing and maintenance of dry risers, in accordance with current recommendations and issues test certificates as required.
